WARRIOR
The Warrior Path consists of our more salient
martial arts background via traditional Chinese Kung-Fu (Gong-Fu). The system of Shan Tao Quan has elements
Northern & Southern Shaolin, Xing Yi Quan (Mind Intent Boxing), Tai
Ji Quan (Grand Ultimate Boxing), Bagua Zhang (Eight Trigram Palm). These will help with overall fitness, internal
health, self-protection skills, and much more. All Chinese martial arts
teach special skills training such as throws, joint locks, sensitivity,
point striking, weaponry, and health/power building exercises.
HEALER
The Healer Path consists of training at Dragon
Arts is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine as applied to living a
healthy and balanced life. One usually starts by getting a health
consultation with the Head instructor to have first hand experience of
how these theories and techniques work. In the next step you begin your
training in First Aid with a TCM perspective. Eventually you can learn
Chinese Body Work (Tui-Na), Herbal Science, and/or Medical Qigong
Healing.
SCHOLAR
The Scholar Path consists of learning
applicable terms used in class, history, and philosophy.
We study the influences of the Mountain Way system
and the results of living a balanced and productive life.
Not only will you learn to use many special
techniques in daily life, but you will also be able to communicate the
reasons to friends, family, and co-workers. Those
that develop into instructors must have additional studies in
communication and teaching techniques as well as business development
skills that will be administered through authorized training centers
set up by the Shan Tao (Mountain Way) Life Arts Association.
SAGE
The Sage Path consists of training that brings
about self-awareness as well as a better understanding of your
surroundings. These arts tend to be meditative and introspective. All
things are born from stillness and it is in quietude that we are able
to understand life at a much deeper level.
