Some
uses of the Invisible Clock 2
|
General Reminders - the Invisible Clock 2 has a
number uses for general reminders. You can use any of the 12 Alarms, or
use the Countdown Timer.
Seated and Standing Meditation/Qigong/Yoga - the vibration
can be set to low, medium or high. On low, it is perfect for meditative
slow moving practices as it is very quiet and subtly allows you to be
notified when the session or section is finished. Many people use
the Countdown Timer for these types of practices.
ADD/ADHD - you can use any of the 4 timing features; the
Countdown Timer, the 12 Alarms, the Meeting Timer, or
the Custom Timer. If you desire to track time throughout the day, the
Custom Timer may be the best suited for this as you can program it in
just about any way you want. For example, program the countdown time to
60 minutes, and then set an alert to go off at 15 minutes, then at the
˝ hour, then at 45 minutes, then on the hour. The advantage with this
timer is that each of these alerts will be unique so you will quickly
learn how each particular alert means you are at a certain time. The
alerts are unique for the beeps and the vibrations.
Special Needs Kids - the Invisible Clock 2 is often used
for kids who need extra help remembering certain things such as paying
attention in class. The Countdown Timer set to a certain time (like 10
or 15 minutes) on repeat is most commonly used for this purpose.
Wake Up Without Waking Your Partner - to use the
Invisible Clock 2 for this purpose, it works best to set an Alarm or
two, set the alert switch to vibrate, and then place it under your pill
inside the pillow case. It is the internal noise of the vibration that
transmits through your pillow and into your head. This works even if
your ear is not on the pillow because the vibration transmits its
internal noise very effectively through solid materials.
Medication/Herbal and Vitamin Supplements Reminder -
Most people use the 12 alarms as a medication/herbal and vitamin
supplements reminder, but you can also use the Countdown Timer on
repeat if you take your medication/herbal and vitamin supplements at
regular time intervals. If you need to take a medication once per week,
or once per month, the Countdown Timer can be set up to 999 hours which
is a little over 41 days.
Psychotherapy/Hypnotherapy - see clients without ever
needing to look at the clock. - The Meeting Timer was designed for
therapists. All you have to do is set the time of your meeting and
start the Meeting Timer and it will send you a silent vibration signal
at the ˝ way point, 5 minutes before the end, and at the end of your
meeting. It then automatically resets for the next hour (i.e., if your
session time is 50 minutes, it will go for 50 minutes and give the
above mentioned signals, then wait 10 minutes and then restart and do
the same thing again).
Doctors and Chiropractors - The Custom Timer was
designed for doctors and chiropractors. You can set your session time
and then set up to 6 unique alerts to go off wherever you wish in the
session time. You can set this to time once (there is a one-button
restart after it is complete), or to repeat, or to count-up after the
countdown is complete.
Natural/Wholistic Health Care Providers – A very
powerful way to use the Countdown Timer is set the function on 15
minute intervals to keep good pace on the initial and follow-up
appointments. This allows for a more focused and less time consuming
session that leads to increased income because you are less likely to
get side tracked.
Licensed Massage Therapist/Students – A standard one hour
massage can be timed out at any interval with the Countdown Timer to
help make sure the massage is very balanced and because there is a
vibrate function the client will never know.
Talks and Presentations - Use the Countdown Timer or
the Custom Timer for timing talks. The Custom Timer can be programmed
to give alerts at up to 6 different points within a time of up to 60
minutes. Each alert is unique so you can easily tell where you are in
your talk. This timer can be custom to set to perfectly time just about
any type of talk; for Toastmasters, it can be programmed perfectly for
any of their talks.
Learning New Habits/Mantras - The most common way to use
the Invisible Clock 2 for learning new habits is to set the Countdown
Timer on repeat to any time. For example, if you want to practice
relaxing throughout the day and remembering to breathe deeply, you
could set the Countdown Timer on repeat in 30 minutes - this way you
would be reminded every 30 minutes to practice this new habit.
Students – You can easily increase your optimal
concentration time by setting the Countdown Timer for say 30 minutes
and studying for that length of time, taking a break, and then studying
for another 30 minutes and so on. The following week you can set the
Timer for 35 or 40 minutes and repeat the process until your
concentration time increases to the desired amount.
Timed Exams – The Custom Timer is ideal for exam taking
because with the traditional time piece you have to make effort to
monitor how much time has passed which distracts you from concentrating
and performing well on the exam. The Invisible Clock 2, however, unlike
traditional clocks alerts the exam taker based upon the time intervals
set forth.
Exam Proctors – With the Meet Timer you will have more
mobility to monitor and help examines and return back to your table in
a timely fashion.
Martial Arts Instructors/Coaches – Make training sessions
even more structured by timing out your curriculum or practice sessions
into 3 or 4 blocks of time. Also you will be able to time two person
drills so that the flow of class is continuous and high energy.
Internal Martial Arts teachers can easily time walking, standing, and
sensing hand sessions. Personal
Trainers/Pilates and Yoga Instructors – With the
Countdown Timer can be used to time any aspect of your clients’
workout, especially when you are doing “circuit training”. You will
find that it allows for smooth transitions into the various phases of
the training session.
Aerobic Instructors – You can get into the music and
lead with even more enthusiasm because the Invisible Clock 2 is cuing
you as to when to change the movement sequences.
Running and Biking – Time your runs or rides with the
Custom Timer so that you can keep better pace.
Parenting – You can use the Timer to help with structured
potty training intervals and timeouts. You can be baking and have to
tend to your child’s need and have the Invisible Clock 2 remind you are
baking before it is too late.
