Shan Tao Quan Gong Fu
Traditional Chinese Kung Fu
at Dragon Arts

Basic Principles:

Make no mistake, we are not a wushu school (which tend to be more gymnastically-based), nor do we train or teach to strictly perform and/or win trophies.  Preservation of life and practicality for a balanced approach to all situations is our emphasis.  Self-defense is a life art unto itself and must be ingrained into our awareness as a regular part of our daily lives.

Real World Self-Defense
A culmination of time-tested methods that have protected individuals for thousands of years from empty handed attack and weapon wielding aggressors.  We train you to avoid all forms of violence and fight only when absolutely necessary.

Exceptional Health and Fitness
As seen above, robust, radiant health will be developed from the moment you begin and continue throughout your life if training is consistent.

Internal Cultivation
Development of strong spirit, refined mental activity, and more controlled use of ones innate bodily energy.  Qi ("chee")development, control, and application is an essential component to oursystem of martial arts.
