The study of Tai Chi Chuan at Dragon Arts is both enjoyable and
challenging. The training location is usually in a natural setting near
water and away from excessive human traffic. When in the Kwoon (Chinese
word for “training hall”), the interior and soft music help attain a
mindset of quietude and focus to fully benefit from your practice of
Tai Chi.
Classes begin in unison with the instructor
leading everyone through a series of light Qigong movements to
stimulate the body and tune it up for later practice. Next, we break up
into groups based on your personal level of experience to improve on
previously learned postures and to learn more. At the end of class,
everyone will practice Qigong together to again unify and close the
training day.

Facts About Tai Chi Chuan
Chinese philosophy and
culture have produced many of humankind’s greatest triumphs. One of their greatest is the martial art of

Tai Chi Chuan is an ordered system of fluid, blended
movements designed to be practice daily in order for the practitioner
